I always like to get to know the people I work with, so I figured I’d share a little bit about myself, too…

I grew up playing tennis from a young age and have since dabbled in just about every other sport: running, yoga, barre, swimming, gymnastics, traditional gym workouts, the list goes on! I’ve discovered that exercise allows me to learn about and challenge myself in new and exciting ways.

Another thing that my friends and family associate with me is cooking. It’s not something I do so much for myself, but I really love cooking for others. The potential for creativity, the experimentation, and of course, the best part: watching everyone talk and bond over food that I prepared… not much comes close to that feeling of warmth and joy. Cooking is my way of showing my loved ones that I care. I’d spend all day in the kitchen if I could. And in fact, I have – on more than a handful of occasions!

My family followed my father around whenever his job took him some place new. From Dubai and Bahrain to Algeria and Tanzania (featuring a couple of brief stints in London), we’ve learned that the word “home” can really mean whatever you want it to. As a child, moving schools every few years was far from easy, but looking back, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Moving around as much as we did exposed me to new people, cultures, food, and languages. It’s not hard to understand why exploration and learning are still so important to me in adulthood.

20 years and counting :)

My creative interests

Photography

I’ve had an interest in photography since I was young. As I got older, I stumbled across film photography and discovered a new passion for this artform.

Art

My background in fine art started very early on as I followed in my mother’s artistic footsteps. This is ultimately what inspired my graphic design career.
